Accommodation

On campus:

The dormitories of Koc University and the Henry Ford Guest House will be available for accommodating the participants of the 2nd EURO Stochastic Modelling Working Group Meeting. For these on-campus rooms, please your make reservation on line when you register for the conference.

The charges for the on-campus rooms are as follows (in Euros):

Koc University Dormitories-Single room- A type – 40 euros
Koc University Dormitories-Double room-A type - 50 euros per room
Koc University Dormitories-Double suite-A type - 60 euros per room
Koc University Dormitories-Double room-B type – 40 euros per room
Koc University Dormitories-Single room-C type – 20 euros
Koc University Dormitories-Double room-C type – 30 euros per room

"A class" rooms have single and double rooms where each room has its private bathroom. However, the number of these rooms especially the number of single rooms are very limited, and they will be assigned on a first come first served basis following registration. "B class" rooms are double occupancy rooms where a bathroom is shared among four rooms. All buildings have computers and televisions in the lounges. "C type" dorm rooms have a shared bathroom facility with no minibar service. Telephone, minibar, internet access is available in each A and B type room. There is also a cable TV in each “A Class” room.

Please note that  if you are allocated a different room than the one chosen on your registration form, you will be contacted before reservations are finalized.

Off campus:

If you prefer to stay off-campus you can contact the Fuat Pasha Hotel in Sariyer, which is the closest hotel to campus. Unfortunately the hotel is very small and heavily booked during the period, and no block reservations have been made available for us. You may want to try individual reservations. A second alternative is the Sheraton Istanbul Maslak Hotel. We have a block of reservations available at this hotel. On-line reservations for Sheraton Istanbul Maslak will be taken with the conference registration. The hotel rates are as follows: 130 euros + tax ("superior room", single or double) and   150 euros + tax ("deluxe room", single or double).  Breakfast is not included in these prices

 If several participants choose this alternative, a shuttle bus will be made available to and from campus. Travel time to and from the University is highly variable and subject to traffic conditions with an average duration of around 45 minutes.
